Become a Member

A single membership in Slow Food is $60, a dual membership is $75. By joining you will be one of over 18,000 members in the United States who are part of an international Slow Food organization founded in Italy in 1989 by Carlo Petrini.

As a member you will receive the following publications:
  • The Slow Food Almanac from Slow Food International
  • THE SNAIL, a Slow Food USA magazine
  • The Food Chain e-newsletter from Slow Food USA
  • Slow Food Sonoma County quarterly newsletter, Traditions
  • A roster of convivium members
You will be invited to all convivium events, such as:
  • Small classes in which members share their expertise in a variety of areas, from sausage making and bread baking to canning and tea tasting;
  • A quarterly "meet-up" at a local restaurant that supports Slow Food's goals;
  • Our annual meeting and reception;
  • Large events such as the annual Ark of Taste dinner.
